Your wedding cake is a very personal expression of your style on your wedding day. I create my cakes using two distinctive design techniques, Fondant and Buttercream icing finishes.
A Fondant Icing Finish is best described as a sweet dough. It is rolled out similarly to pastry and then shaped around the cake. Various design techniques are used to create smooth sharp edges or textured detailing. It is a fantastic decorating tool. Fondant finishes offer a clean, highly designed, sharp finish and are versatile, enabling me to provide a truly unique design. Minimum prices are outlined below as all sugar flowers and intricate detailing is additional.
A Buttercream Icing Finish is a soft icing made from butter and icing sugar. It is used as the main filling between the layers of cake but also as one of my coatings on the outside of wedding cakes. It can have a smooth, sharp finish or a less perfect look, incorporating texture. Buttercream gives a more relaxed feel to the look of the wedding cake.
Delivery Costs are additional and depend on you location. Delivery is available to Hampshire and neighbouring counties. In quieter times of the year I may have the capacity to deliver nationwide. Delivery includes the transportation, assembly and styling of your cake, all of which is done by me. It is no problem to collect your cake the day of or before the event.
